Honeypot Cottage is a
delightful self-contained self-catering cottage attached to our 17th
century Grade 2 listed farmhouse. It is tastefully renovated, finished
and furnished to a very high standard retaining beams, exposed brickwork
and other original features. The cottage is situated on a 1200 acre farm
in the tranquil countryside. The cottage looks out on to the River Deben
and the garden looks out on to a meadow with an enclosed pond.
Honeypot Cottage is an ideal base for walking, bird watching and
cycling. There are many
peaceful countryside walks starting from the cottage.
You will find many maps of the local area
in the information pack.
There is also sea and
coarse fishing, golf and sailing in the area
We have freshwater fishing
from a small private fishing club within walking distance of the cottage
and 5 miles away sea fishing at Felixstowe |
