We are in a very quiet rural location in the bottom comer of Somerset close to the Devon border. The hills are laced with narrow unspoilt roads and lanes with hedgerows abounding in natural flora and fauna. There are many footpaths and the area is ideal for the walker. Pear Tree Cottage with its traditional colourful border garden with croquet lawn, and kitchen garden, providing some seasonal vegetables, together with a newly developed arboretum - 3.5 acres overall - is in the middle of it.

We let a family suite and a separate double and single room. When the double is booked first we do not then let the single to a stranger so that guests can enjoy private use of the adjacent facilities.
