Hedera House &
Plantation Bungalows are set in two acres of lovely, peaceful gardens in
the village of Thurne, right at the heart of the Broadland National Park
This small site with
only Hedera House and 11 individual holiday bungalows is under the
personal supervision of Carol Delf. Its small number of guests ensures
there is always space to enjoy your holiday by swimming in our private
heated pool, having fun in the games room with pool and table tennis, or
just relaxing in our lovely gardens, in the peace of the Norfolk Broads.
Pets are accepted by prior arrangement
This picturesque
setting is adjacent to the River Thurne, with Thurne Dyke 50 yards away,
offering launching for small craft and mooring facilities. There is
river access to all Broads, including Hickling, Ranworth and Wroxham,
and coarse fishing is available along the river bank. Thurne village has
a local store and the Lion Inn, which cater for most holiday needs. A
car is recommended to explore further around and about. The central
location of Thurne means that all the attractions of the Norfolk Broads
and the surrounding areas are just a short drive away |

Moor Farm Stable
Cottages consists of a period farmhouse, five cottages and eleven
comfortable barn conversions, all part of a working farm
Moor Farm is Ideal for touring. We are
about twenty miles from the Norfolk Broads and the North Norfolk Coast
and for Ramblers and bird-watchers, there are over 360 acres of National
Trust woodland at Foxley Wood
We are Ideal for the keen angler, having
our own well stocked fishing lake opposite the farm. Set in beautiful,
natural countryside it is managed by the local fishing club and is
mainly stocked with mirror carp.
We have fishing rights on the nearby
River Wensum, also a well-stocked pond and fishing lake and all guests
at Moor Farm are very welcome to fish in the lake at any time free of
charge.
The essence of Moor Farm is its space for
children and it has a fenced in play/activity area.
We have accommodation to suit most people
- a family group, or just one man and a dog !
