Grange Farm
offers three self catering holiday cottages which have been
sympathetically converted from a former barn. They are brick built with
exposed beams and brickwork, and the old original upper floor supports
are still in place resting on the stone padstones. They are graded as
three star by the English Tourist Board.
The
campsite is licensed as a Caravan Club Certificated
Location, catering for five touring vans. All of our hard standings have
electric hook up to 16 amp. There is also a grassed area for anyone
preferring to be on grass
We would like to
show you our
holiday cottages,
campsite and
fishing lakes,
which are set in the
Lincolnshire Wolds
- designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We moved here in
1999 and fell in love with this part of Lincolnshire. We think you will
too.
Grange Farm is surrounded by beautiful
countryside: woods, valleys, streams and rivers, with dry valleys cut
out by the glacial melt waters which formed the landscapes we see today.
Over the ridge and the Bluestone Heath Road are rolling acres of arable
land producing much of our country's cereals and fresh produce.
Grange Farm's location really is ideal to reach
the wide variety of attractions that Lincolnshire has to offer
Ideally Placed
for Walking and Golfing, and for Anglers we have our very own fishing
lakes. |

Woodthorpe Hall Leisure Park is ideally situated, nestled between the
rolling hills of the Lincolnshire wolds and the wide open spaces to the
Marshes leading down the the sea. Close to the seaside resorts of
Mablethorpe, Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea.
Enjoy a peaceful break in one of our 4 star rated cottages or our gold
standard static caravans. If you would rather bring your own caravan we
have plenty of space for you to come and stay. With newly built shower
and toilet facilities new for 2010.
Quiet country walks, fishing at one of two well stocked lakes or a
relaxing meal at Woody's Bar and Restaurant, can be contrasted with a
more energetic game of golf on our 18 holed affiliated golf course.
A warm welcome awaits you at Woodthorpe.

Canal Farm
self-catering holiday cottages offer a peaceful haven for a relaxing
break away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The cottages have
a view of open countryside to the Lincolnshire Wolds and the majestic
spire of St James Church in Louth, just a few miles away. Louth is a
beautiful unspoilt Georgian town with a bustling market. Louth still has
many small traditional food shops selling local Lincolnshire produce,
including cheeses, breads, pork and fish from Grimsby in North
Lincolnshire – this makes Louth a very special and unique town
The charming
cottages have been created through the sympathetic conversion of
traditional Lincolnshire red bricked and pantiled farm buildings and
have retained their agricultural heritage. They are well equipped and
comfortable, with all that self catering holiday makers will need, each
has its own its own courtyard and parking area. The local facilities are
excellent, with 2 pubs, the Millhouse Restaurant, farm shops and a
village store all within 3 miles of Canal Farm in lovely rural
Lincolnshire villages
Canal Farm has
it’s very own fishing lake, stocked with a variety of coarse fish and
within walking distance of the cottages. This facility is available free
to our paying guests.
Walkers and
bird-watches will love the nearby coastal nature reserve at
Saltfleet-Theddlethorpe. The spectacular sight of seal pups on the sands
at Donna Nook during November and December and the beautiful Marsh
Orchids in May/June at Rimac, are two of Lincolnshire’s best kept
secrets
For golfers there
are several courses locally including Louth, Kenwick Park & Tetney. |
