Once a hunting ground of Kings the New Forest is a superb family holiday destination situated in central southern England. Now home to our self catering cottages and large converted barn it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

 Our delightful cottages and granary barn are situated in our farmyard on the edge of the New Forest. Each of the holiday cottages has a private patio and there is a shared garden next to the River Avon with views over unspoilt New Forest water meadows. The barn has its own garden with panoramic views of the New Forest and Avon Valley.

 A short walk from the cottages is a good pub, a high class restaurant and of course paths through the New Forest. The small town of Fordingbridge is only 1 mile away with lots of shops

 The farm is 230 acres of grassland, meadows and corn and is wonderful for peaceful walks, bird watching and picnics. The suspension bridge viewed from the garden, takes you into water meadows rich in plants and wildlife, along the Avon Valley footpath and into the New Forest. Barn Owls nest in the farmyard and birds regularly seen include Herons, Kingfishers, many birds of prey, Warblers, Water Rails and all types of water fowl and waders.

Fritham farm is a working stud farm set in 51 acres of beautiful grassland where the famous Fritham ponies are produced. Wildlife is in abundance including deer in our copse, badgers, fox and rabbits in our hedgerows & curlew and buzzard in the skies above our fields. The Farm is set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where oak and beech woods, rivers, lakes and plantations are intermixed with heathland and Forest lawns.

Fritham is a tiny village in the heart of the New Forest National Park. The local pub is just ½ mile away and is unspoiled. Here you can buy good food in the middle of the day and more substantial meals can be found 5 minutes drive away at other excellent pubs and restaurants.
