Stay with us if you are looking for comfortable self catering accommodation in our apartments, hostel or bunkhouse near the base of Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands. Snowgoose Mountain Centre offers an ideal base to take part in our adventure activities or to independently explore the surrounding west coast with its unique blend of landscape and a huge variety of outdoor activities for all levels.

We offer mountain & water based skills training and guiding on the West Coast of Scotland. Our family run business provides from family days out on the water or crag to winter skills training and wilderness expeditions by land or water with locally based, professionally qualified instructors & guides all year round.

Hill walking, navigation, rock climbing, abseiling & scrambling, Scottish winter skills & mountaineering, kayaking, open canoeing, sea kayaking, dinghy sailing from beginners upwards to more adventurous and challenging routes.

We can provide residential (in our fully self catered hostel / bunkhouse or apartments) or non-residential Activity Day Tickets or Breaks, Holidays, Courses, Expeditions or Private Guiding for individuals or groups from half day taster sessions 5 day courses or 7 day expeditions.

If you have some previous experience we are happy to hire our ww kayaks, open canoes, sea kayaks or Devon Yawl sailing dinghies. We have full expedition gear hire plus a pick up / drop off service. We can also arrange group pick-ups by coach from Glasgow, Edinburg, Inverness airports.

Snowgoose Mountain Centre is an AALA licensed centre (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority). John Cuthbertson is a member of AMI (Association of Mountaineering Instructors)

The site is in an ideal central position for touring the Highlands and Islands, covering a wide range of leisurely pursuits and activities. The Islands of Skye, Mull, lona and many more are reasonably accessible as are numerous mainland locations. Onich is an ideal base for discovering the magic this part of Scotland has to offer

For the energetic, the ski and climbing areas of Glencoe and the Nevis Range, are within 30 minutes car journey. The rambler and mountain biker is spoilt for choice also, with many official designated routes

Alternatively, spend some time just relaxing by your cottage taking in the view or stroll down to the secluded rugged beach at the foot of our site. Springwell lies in an exceptional area for wildlife and is within a Special Area of Conservation
