Our luxury self
catering apartment is set in the gorgeous village of Dollar, a beautiful
little jewel in the foot of The Ochil Hills. This two bedroomed luxury
apartment brings a little flavour of the fast life into this sleepy
hamlet and gives a modern twist on countryside chic. Think chandeliers
in many colours, gothic mirrors on linen walls and a wonderfully light,
airy feel the minute you step through the off street, heavy double
doors. With a large kitchen and dining area furnished in modern wood and
leather and decorated with some eye-catching art from up and coming
young Scottish Artists, Dollar Residence lends itself perfectly to
entertaining and a friends get away.
The kitchen leads out
onto an impressive decking area that stands on stilts over its own
mature garden. Overlooking tree-lined walks and the stunning Ochills,
this fabulous space is begging you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast for
two, al fresco drinks with friends or a great book, big blanket and some
well-earned me time!
The apartment houses
two double bedrooms, one of which is en suite and can easily convert to
a twin. Gorgeous, bright, country style chic and high quality soft
furnishings make both rooms little havens of relaxation. The bathroom
and showers are modern and well-appointed, again, with superior end
furnishings that bring a distinct quality feel to the property. The
lounge looks out over street level with two large corner windows letting
in lots of light and giving a fresh, open appeal to this very cool room
Dollar nestles into
central belt Scotland as one of the hillfoot villages with some of our
most breathtaking scenery as its backdrop. The beautifully situated
Castle Campbell was frequented by some of Scotland’s most well kent
faces. Robert Burns, Sir Walter Scott and Turner all made their way
through Dollar Glen, a stunning wooded valley, to visit this magnificent
15th century favourite.
Dollar
village is nearby to Scotland’s popular cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh
and Perth and can be located easily via public transport. With only a
short drive away from famous sites like The Trossachs and Loch Lomond,
you’ll find day trips that will take you to some
of Scotland’s most treasured areas and stunning scenery. By spending
